Sometimes when you've had a questionable month, its nice to just focus on the positives.
Here are the things I've been particularly loving throughout the first month of the year;
Top left to bottom right:
- The Yankee Candle Vanilla Satin room diffuser my mum got me for Christmas is great, I love burning candles but there's something lovely and just so low maintenance about having this constantly sat in the living-room making it smell gorgeous.
- I had a rocky start to my relationship with the Revlon Colourstay Moisture Stains , at first I didn't really know how to apply them properly, and my first reaction was less than positive- basically I thought they were patchy and horrible. After realising that they actually just have a unique texture which needs more working in than other products, they have heavily featured in my make-up bag this month. I have the shade 050 London Posh and my personal favourite, 005 Parisian Passion, which is a gorgeous dark berry shade.
- The Whittard's White Hot Chocolate has been very helpful this month after experiencing some pretty serious withdrawal symptoms from the loss of the Costa and Starbucks Christmas drinks! Its been lovely having this at home to make whenever I want, especially as its been so cold!
- Leaving the best 'til last, I've been loving the new additions that have been made to my Real Techniques brush collection. For Christmas Elliott bought me the powder brush and a brush set which included the cheek brush, duo-fiber face brush, base shadow brush, angled shadow brush and eyeliner brush. I also had to buy myself one of the new Bold Metal brushes, they're so beautiful! I chose the 201 Pointed Crease because I've been particularly loving experimenting with different eye looks this month.
